Link your account to Discord
Linking Discord lets HyperMine know which server account is yours and synchronize the roles you are entitled to in the official Discord. Linking does not mean publishing your password or giving it to the bot.
๐ก Before you start
Join the official Discord. Then sign in to the website with your own HyperMine account. If you use several Discord accounts in your browser, check which one is open.
๐ก Connect your accounts, step by step
- Open Link Discord.
- Check the Minecraft nickname shown on the page.
- Press the button to connect your Discord.
- Discord opens its authorization screen. Check the account is correct and press Authorize.
- When you return to HyperMine, you will see the linked account. Your applicable roles synchronize automatically.
You can also use /vincular inside Discord: the bot will give you access to the linking process. This Discord command does not go in Minecraft chat.
๐ก Another account was already linked
A link identifies a specific account. If the screen says your Discord or HyperMine account is already linked, do not create new accounts to bypass the notice. Check the profile shown and decide whether you are using the correct account.
To change Discord accounts, open Link Discord, press Unlink and confirm. Then connect the correct account. Unlinking removes the HyperMine roles that depended on that link.
๐ฌ A role is missing in Discord
First check you are in the official Discord and that the linked nickname is correct. Wait for synchronization to finish. If the role still does not appear, open a support question with your nickname and the missing role. Do not link and unlink repeatedly to try to force it.
๐ก What can I do with the bot?
The bot lets you check the server address, online players and profiles, among other features. See the player commands in The Discord bot.
