Choosing and using your tags
A tag is the design displayed alongside your name. Buying a tag adds it to your collection; afterwards you choose which one to use. It does not change your real nickname, guild or ranks.
๐ก Viewing and choosing tags you own
- Open
/tagsor/tagon the server. - Enter My tags.
- Use the category filter if you have many.
- Press the tag you want to select and check the menu notice.
You can also reach them through the appearance options in /ajustes. Tags received as a reward or through another account benefit may also appear even if you did not buy them in the store.
๐๏ธ Discovering and buying
In Discover tags, choose a category or view all. In the store, open the tags section to preview them and see their prices. Tags withdrawn from sale do not appear as products you can buy.
Categories help you find designs, such as countries, emojis or special tags. On the website, you can sort the list by name or price.
If a tag says You already own this, you do not need to buy it again for yourself. When available, you can give it to someone else. The recipient must be able to receive it and must not own it already.
๐จ Colors: choose from the tag's options
Some tags let you change their color. These designs use Minecraft's preset colors, such as yellow, green or blue. You cannot choose any custom RGB color for a colorable tag.
RGB colors and gradients on special designs are part of that tag's prepared design. Seeing several colors in a tag does not mean it has a selector to change them.
๐ Why does the design change between versions?
Some tags have two designs to suit Minecraft. Java clients compatible with the modern design can use it from 1.16; older versions and Bedrock use the corresponding classic design.
Colorable tags use their classic design. If a tag has no other different design, the preview shows one version. For tags that change, use the website version selector to compare. Some symbols also look different depending on each version's Minecraft font.
The preview helps you see a tag alongside a name and rank. Without a session, it may use an example profile; when signed in, it uses available information from your account. Your game version determines the final appearance.
