Protect your home and share your land carefully
A land claim reserves an area so you can control who uses it. Building a house does not protect the land by itself. Before storing items or inviting someone, check the claim exists and covers the whole area.
The two opposite corners mark the land you will protect. Check the boundary before confirming.
๐ก Creating your first claim
Use the claiming shovel or the /claim command.
With a golden shovel
- Find unclaimed land and hold a golden shovel.
- Right-click one corner of the land.
- Right-click the opposite corner to form a rectangle.
- Read the server message. When the claim is created, its boundaries are marked temporarily.
The two corners define the area. You do not need to surround it with fences for the system to know where it starts and ends. If it overlaps another claim, is too small or you lack claim blocks, the server tells you.
With the command
Stand in the center of unclaimed land and use /claim. You can give a radius, such as /claim 5. The game shows the area and asks for confirmation in chat. Type confirmar only if the area and cost are what you want. A preview is not yet a created claim.
Using /claim inside an existing claim opens its management menu instead of creating another over it.
๐ก What are claim blocks?
They are the space you can reserve for your land. They are counted by horizontal area: a 10 ร 10 plot uses 100 claim blocks. They are not stone blocks or inventory items.
Check /claimslist to review your land and available space. Height and subdivisions follow the system's options; do not assume a small claim covers another separate house.
๐ก Seeing boundaries and expanding
Use a stick on a block to check whether it belongs to a claim. The markers help you see the edge; the claim remains after those markers disappear.
To resize, use the golden shovel on one of your claim's corners and mark its new position. You can also use /extendclaim 5 to expand in the direction you face, when the surrounding land and claim-block balance allow it. Read the final message and check the boundaries again.
๐ค Giving a friend access
The clearest way is to enter the claim, use /claim and open Members. Add the correct nickname and choose the actions you want to allow. Start with only what that person needs.
| Action | Helpful command inside your land |
|---|---|
| Allow basic access, such as doors and buttons | /accesstrust Nombre |
| Allow containers and entrances without building | /containertrust Nombre |
| Allow building and breaking | /trust Nombre |
| Allow help managing ordinary members | /permissiontrust Nombre |
| Remove access given to a person | /untrust Nombre |
| Check who has access | /trustlist |
A chest with additional private protection may need its own access. Access to the land does not mean every private chest should open.
๐ก Sharing only a room or plot
Subdivisions separate part of your claim. Use /subdivideclaim and mark two corners with the shovel. For an area also limited by height, use /subdivideclaim3d and mark one floor corner and the opposite ceiling corner.
A main claim and a subdivision are different. Inherited access from the main land may still apply; check the subdivision's menu. If you need to separate it from the main claim's access, check the relevant option and /restrictsubclaim before treating the room as private.
Use /basicclaims to return the shovel to normal mode. This avoids creating a subdivision when you wanted another claim.
๐ก Land settings and guilds
In /claim, review the land's name, members, subdivisions and settings. Some options unlock as you advance through guilds. For example, music becomes available with Artista; later, guilds expand settings for plants, liquids, time or creatures.
Review editor changes and use its save option when shown. If you leave without saving a pending change, do not assume it was applied. Your land's settings do not let you modify someone else's land.
๐ก Deleting a claim or giving up protection
Use the claim menu or /abandonclaim while standing inside it. Carefully read which area will be removed and the chat confirmation. /abandontoplevelclaim removes a main claim and its subdivisions; /abandonallclaims affects all your land on that server.
Deleting a claim means you stop controlling that area. Do not use it as a test or accept a confirmation you do not understand. Deleting protection does not move your house elsewhere.
๐ก Am I trapped?
If you are trapped in someone else's claim, /trapped lets you request an exit when its conditions are met. Wait for its notice. If there is a problem or you suspect damage to your land, keep evidence and open a question or report.
