🧰 Your own chest shop

A chest shop sells items from your own stock. Visitors pay Reales; they do not take free items out of the chest. Start on protected land where you can build.

🪵 Create your first shop

1. Place a chest or barrel with space for a sign.
2. Hold the item you want to sell and left-click the chest without sneaking.
3. Follow the chat prompt and enter the requested price. Creating the shop costs 10 Reales.
4. Check the sign: the item, price and quantity per transaction should be correct.
5. Open your chest and add matching stock. With no stock, there is nothing to sell.

Left-click the sign or chest to start a transaction and enter the requested quantity in chat. Read the message before replying: the price may cover a particular quantity of items. Right-click your sign for your shop's controls; right-click your chest to restock it.

Your starting access lets you create selling shops. Seeing an option in generic help does not guarantee that you can create a shop that buys from others. The guild guide shows how to increase your shop limit.

💸 Prices and upkeep

Changing a shop's price costs 50 Reales when the fee applies. There is a 5 % trading tax: check the transaction's balance messages. Removing the shop does not refund its creation cost. Do not change prices repeatedly without checking the expense.

Do not try removing only the sign to close the shop. Use your own shop's available controls and check that it has stopped selling before removing the chest.
